?2017 Nostalgia Silent Auction presented by Drag Racer Magazine benefitting the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum
?The 2017 California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California will once again host the Nostalgia Silent Auction benefitting the NHRA Motorsports Museum. For the past five reunions, the generosity of the Hot Rod Heritage Community has given directly to the Museum through donations from the sale of the auction items.
We are now in the process of seeking items for this year’s auction, which include a variety of treasures such as, vintage racing apparel, framed artwork, new and used speed equipment, trophies and other racing memorabilia. The auction will be held at the California Hot Rod Reunion, October 20-21 at historic Auto Club Famoso Raceway near Bakersfield, CA. Items for silent bid will be displayed starting Friday, October 20th in the auction tent located adjacent to the Famoso tower. Bidding will close promptly at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st.
Interested donors please contact Rose Dickinson, email@example.com (909) 622-2575 or Greg Sharp, firstname.lastname@example.org (909) 622-2735 or you can drop them by the Museum at anytime during our Wednesday-Sunday business hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you drop them off, please leave us complete information on the item as well as donor contact information.
Thank you for your past, current, and future support.
The value of your donated item may be tax deductible, please check with you tax associate or the IRS.
We are receiving many items now and in every price range.

The HOT ROD REUNION™ is a series of events produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, and located in Pomona, Calif. The HOT ROD REUNION events are part of the museum’s "living history" philosophy, which works to bring to life the sights, sounds and people who made history in the early days of drag racing, land speed racing and the golden age of American car culture.
Unique among motorsports events, HOT ROD REUNION events honor some of the top names in hot rodding from the past and feature a fabulous array of cool drag cars, street rods and customs of the historic and present-day hot rod eras.
Each HOT ROD REUNION event features a wide variety of activities, including NHRA vintage drag racing, featuring some the sport’s most famous and historic cars and drivers racing in such classes at Nostalgia Top Fuel, Funny Car, Fuel Altereds, Supercharged Gassers, Classic Super Stock, Hot Rods and others.
Information on HOT ROD REUNION events, including a full activities schedule for each event, entry forms and tickets, is available through the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum at

Founded in 1998 and named for the founder of the National Hot Rod Association, the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California houses the very roots of hot rodding. Scores of famous vehicles spanning American motorsports history are on display, including winning cars representing 50 years of drag racing, dry lakes and salt-flat racers, oval track challengers and exhibits describing their colorful backgrounds.
